1. Delivery issues surrounding Spam - Email authentication and Bonded sender programmes - do they work? How many exist, how do they differ and how many should you register with? Is it now better to outsource and take advantage of supplier relations with ISPs and the email authenticators? Blacklists - are there specific ones you should watch?
2. Should you be concerned about falling open rates? What other factors are affecting opens/clicks/bounces etc? What methods exist to measure message effectiveness? Is it possible to measure effectiveness through non-statistical methods? What other channels can you measure that will inform if your emails are working and that your strategy is the right one?
3. Using rich media mails (video clips, Flash etc) - are they still viable? Do they return a good ROI? When are they appropriate? Do they work better in certain verticals or with specific audiences?
4. Is an ASP solution better than a hosted one? What are the advantages/disadvantages? How do you build the business case and choose the right partner? How do you go about integrating with your other channels?
