Overview

Here in Team Marketing at Econsultancy, we are marketers working in the digital marketing industry and we have lots in common with you. We market to the same prospects as you (digital marketing and e-commerce marketers and digital technology and services buyers from big and small brands alike). Econsultancy wants them as members, event attendees and trainees. You, most likely, also want them as customers, prospects and leads for your sales team.

So, we're all in the same boat facing the same challenges:

Where do you find the best sources of data and leads in our industry? List brokers, trade events, own events, email marketing, DM?

Which are the best agencies to use for campaigns, marketing, DM and social? How much do they charge?

What do the brands we all target respond to? What makes them sit up and listen to your story in a crowded market?

What 'soft sell' methods are working best: Social media, PR, whitepapers, content creation?

How do you measure the success of your campaigns, and what channels do you find the most effective? How can you show returns on your marketing budgets?

So Econsultancy's Team Marketing thought it was high time to bring together our community of marketers targeting digital marketers, so that we can share our common  experiences, hear from a few experts, build our networks and learn from each other.

We'll look at discussing some of the issues above, in roundtable format so there's lots of opportunity to find out what your peers are doing about the challenges and opportunties we all face.

Roundtables

Choose from two of the following roundtable topics in which to participate:

  • Budgets & Planning: How you measure ROI and report to the Board, how you manage internal relations and negotiate bigger budgets, how far in advance do you plan and how have pressures around the wider economic climate affected you.
  • Technologies: Email, CRM, data management, SEO, online measurement, tracking, marketing automation...who do you use, how do they work for you, your challenges and benefits that you've found.
  • Supplier Selection: From social media to trade shows, online vs offline advertising, what works best for you when you're selecting suppliers, how much do you pay, what works and what doesn't.

Each roundtable is moderated by an expert with the agenda driven by roundtable attendees, so you can make sure your particular challenges are addressed. Chatham House Rule applies within these forums.

In addition, we've included some 10-minute presentations from those whom we rate to provide some insight and inspiration into the world in which we work.

Once discussions are over, we hope you'll stay for some more informal networking over a glass of wine or two - hopefully on the sun-drenched deck of HMS President!
