I recently attended the UK Internet Governance Forum:
http://www.nic.uk/about/events/UKIGF/
I haven't seen anything on e-consultancy.com about the issues, nor Nominet's Best Practice Challenge, launched at the UK IGF, which is running again this year:
http://www.nic.uk/about/bestpracticechallenge/
with six categories:
and four themes - security, access, diversity and openness. It seems that it could be a good arena to promote what e-consultancy members have been doing. Last year's winners are listed at:
http://www.nic.uk/digitalAssets/27696_Best_Practice_Challenge_2007_Archive.pdf
and commercial organisations look a bit under-represented. The closing date for entries is 25 April 2008.
