Head of Customer Care at Peto

Hi, i wonder if someone can help?
We currently use Mailchimp for our eDMs and there's one bit of functionality that's missing.
When a subscriber clicks on a button i want the mailing system to send an email stating "joe bloggs just clicked button X". At present we have to look in individual reports and it's time consuming (especially with many campaigns running).
We also use Salesforce so if there's a solution that can tell Salesforce i could use workflow to send our team an email.
Does anyone know if Dotmailer or ConstantContact provider this, or has any other solutions?
All thoughts greatly appreciated.

We currently use Pardot for this functionality. It allows you to instantly receive updates when people open emails, click certain links or visit certain pages on your site. It can be set to update a group or individual and the users can be "lead scored" according to their actions. This can be very useful for a sales or customer service function. Pardot also allows the use of Lead Deck which send a pop up to the users screen, integrates and tracks emails and links sent via outlook and integrates/populates the main CRM systems.

Fantastic - thanks. I was looking at Pardot and Marketo this morning, but pricing is prohibitive for small businesses (when compared with very basic tools like Mailchimp). Appreciate that they're very different products mind.

I'm one of the Corporate Account Directors at dotMailer. Our out of the box Salesforce integration can sync your Salesforce data into dotMailer and then push the open/click data back through to the Salesforce contact. From there you can set up the necessary workflows to trigger an email to your team. If you want to go through this in a bit more detail do drop me an email.
