Email Campaign Manager at Butlins
25 March 2009 14:39pm
Hi there,
I am looking for a profressional email design tool with wysiwyg editor.
I need a solution to being able to turn around email templates quickly but also cost effecitvely without having to have our emails built every time.
So is there something out there which would allow me to have a set of templates ready - then we can drop in copy / images / change colours then as soon as I'm happy with the design I can export and send to our email agency to despatch?
Thanks!
Susan

Hi again,
well, in that case the only thing I would suggest is to use a WYSIWYG html editor (eg. Microsoft Frontpage, which used to be part of MS-Office) which is basically for creating web pages. ...after all an email template is actualy a web page.
I don't know how technical you are but I would suggest you use HTML 3.2 or 4.0 without CSS or with basic CSS to ensure your email will be visible to most receipients.

Does this help?

HI Susan
I would recommend www.FLIMP.net which specialises in rich media landing pages which you can create using their online wysiwyg editor- and you dont need programming skills. If you have video it is ideal. It has a built in distribution tool for search, email, web links and viral forwarding and a reporting dashboard so you can track results in real time by email address.
Happy to advise further if required
