Hi,
I'm using GA more and more for my non-work related web projects and I'm loving it more and more.
Can anyone recommend a book that goes into the details of things?
Thanks,
Lawrence

I haven't come across any decent books but this is a great resource: http://www.google.com/analytics/analyticshelpcharter.
Hope that helps

Hi Lawrence
I've been fortunate enough to read the pre-published version of Dr. Brian Clifton's upcoming book which is entirely about web analytics, and, specifically, Google Analytics. This is the book you need. It just isn't quite published yet!
Brian is European Head of Google Analytics so he knows a thing or two about GA.

GA's help centre is useful, indeed. Just looking for a something non-digital for the train ride back home after work.
I hope that a pre-published book is close to publication. But it sounds like it's worth the wait.

A printed book is on its way that covers the whole spectrum of web analytics using GA - from initial measurement considerations for planning, to implementation, configuration, hacks (work arounds), KPIs and real world tasks (usage).
The book blog site is here: www.advanced-web-metrics.com from which you can download the table of contents and front matter for some of the detail. Publishing by Wiley is expected by March this year.

Justin Cutroni has written an excellent short book on Google Analytics as part of O'Reilly's "Short Cuts" series.

It is very short indeed, but completely to the point and certainly goes into the details.
I imagine Brian Clifton's book will be much more comprehensive and authoritative, but take a look at the Cutroni book in the meantime. He's also promised to keep purchasers of the book up to date with new versions.
