We run an online retail site and need to manage our customer services more effectivley.
Ideally we would like a customer file to be opened for every new customer. This file would show order data as well as allowing staff to leave notes on file. In addition we would need some way to link emails to the file so that all correspondence with a customer could be viewed easily.
We work with a fulfilment house and would want their data to be integrated so that a customers file would store barcode info (for the item sent out).
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

Getting your customer relationship management setup properly is actually quite easy.
With the right software, it can be a simple and efficient process. WORKetc is a business management software centered around making all processes, specifically CRM, easier and more efficient. With WORKetc, each customer profile shows transaction history, special notes, important reminders, and all possible contact information. WORKetc is entirely email integrated and allows you to work from any contact's menu and get certain tasks done, like setup a new invoice or task. WORKetc is a total business management system and allows you to manage all aspects of your business, from CRM and PM, to billing and help desk support.

We use Salesforce. We decided to go with it for CRM and integrating basic ticket/helpdesk functionality was easy (as you already get it for FREE with your Professional license). All very easy to setup and it means we have one place to go for everything customer related - makes life so much simpler. I do appreciate Salesforce is at the top end of the £ scale, but from what i've experienced over the last 9 months it trumps everything else still - and it is so quick on the cloud. Competitors seems to still lag by a few milliseconds which can make the experience annoying - then people stop using it!
