Hi Guys...
Streamline / Bibit told us (did talk to 5 different people to be sure)... that we would NOT be liable for any fraud if we implemented 3d secure... and that was IMPORTANT: NO MATTER if the card was a 3d secure or not.... now we just recieved a charge back and when we call they say that we ARE liable ... this is just typical big banking way of doing this....
SO... can anyone give me links, statements, evidence or something about this issue which I can use ... OR do any of you guys have the same situation as we do ?

The first thing to check is your contract with Streamline / Bibit. It may be the way the transaction occurred which means you are still liable. Is it possible the customer subsequently rejected the transaction due to a change of mind, failure to receive the goods or return of goods?

Hi Guys,
Here is an extract from a manual from our PSP.
"VbV and Secure Code
It is important to note that, providing the process is carried out correctly; the cardholder authentication procedure will only provide you with protection against four chargeback reason codes:
1) Visa Reason Code 75 (Transaction Not Recognised)
2) Visa Reason Code 83 (Fraud-Card Absent Environment)
3) MasterCard Reason Code 37 (No Cardholder Authorisation)
4) MasterCard reason Code 63 (Cardholder Does Not recognise-Potential Fraud)
Chargebacks can still be received on authenticated transactions for reasons other than fraud (e.g. late presentment, no authorisation, duplicate processing, goods not received etc)."
Seems to me you were intially misled.
