Barney - an open question that should generate about 420 responses - mine included – as an independent – let me first comment that any software you purchase would be semi-bespoke and need certain degrees of customisation to handle the presentation layer and the fulfilment – however a good place to start would be a breakdown of the requirements and a realistic budget – then post your requirements off to various providers / re-sellers and development organisations to get the closest match or combination of (I think you will need a combination of CMS and fulfilment tools and a clever development organisation) to put it all together.
