I'm looking to compile a list of the best social media competitions that have been done. I'm looking for best prizes, most interesting way to enter, most successful for the vendor and anything else that you've seen that's interesting. There seem to be quite a lot of innovative ones on the go at the moment but it's always hard to figure out if they have been successful...

I think the Moonfruit Macbook competition last year was one of the best I've seen for a while: http://www.moonfruitlounge.com/post/2009/08/28/Twitter-campaign-results-creative-responses-under-reported

Hi Andrew,
We ran the Millets Festival campaign this summer. It has finished now, but prizes include a pair of festival tickets, wellington boots, waterproofs, a tent and a flip video camera. The winners attending the festival then filmed their experience and we have created 2-3 minute videos as content on facebook.
To finish off the campaign facebook fans were able to vote on who had the best festival experience and enter a prize draw for runners up prizes.
