So I was originally studying for my Professional Diploma in Marketing through CIM, and due to moving into a new role, put it on hold so I could focus on the chalenges of my new job.
However, now that I am settled, I am thinking that as a digital marketer, I would prefer to study for a digital marketing specific qualification. Especially seeing as I have completed my CIM Professional Certificate in Marketing, so at least have a qualification in fully integrated tradional marketing practices etc.
Has anyone taken the new CIM Digital Diploma, or could anyone recommend a nationally recognised qualification, with an online marketing focus. Obviously other than the Econsultancy courses which are both MSc's.
Many thanks all for your feedback and help on this.

Hi Katie,
I realise you're looking for feedback from people who've undertaken courses rather than the course providers (!) but just for info, you might be interested to know that from September Econsultancy will have a range of ten Graduate Certificates available. These are shorter courses than our MSc programmes, taking only six months to complete, and they will cover a wide variety of subjects from integrated marketing communications, to analytics, reputation management and search.
The Graduate Certificates will be academically accredited and competitively priced. They'll benefit from the same level of expert training you would receive as part of our MSc programmes but they'll deliver real hands on skills which can be quickly implemented in the workplace. We're currently waiting for academic validation but if you're interested, I'd be delighted to send through full details as soon as they become available next month. The first certificates will run at the beginning of 2012, so not too long to wait!
You can contact me directly at with any further questions.
