Hi there
We want introduce a google maps mashup to accompany a school education initiative - school data, map data, user-gen photos, action plans, links, videos etc. plus a good search/filter function.
Can you recommend any good developers/agencies who've experience in this area. We're looking for something with the functionality of www.skibonk.com but with a much more professional and bespoke look and feel.
Of course if the agency/developer has experience designing for the educational market too, now that would be a winner.
Thanks
Sophie

Sounds exciting! We're working on a very similar-sounding map integration/mashup project at the moment for a Government agency, and we also work heavily in the education sector. Happy to chat anytime - can be reached on 0203 00 888 77. Our website is www.boxuk.com.
Thanks,
Benno

Hi Sophie,
We just lunched a google maps mashup for searching US public schools. Basically, you can search schools either by zip code or by state and city, and all matched results will be displayed at Google Map with detail school data.
Here is the link: http://www.publicschoolportal.com
We are software company and also doing all kinds of web-based application development. Our software products have been sold more than 45 countries, our customers including Accenture, UniSys, Hitachi Consulting, Fidelity Investments, Northrop Grumman, University of Chicago and more.
