    BACKGROUND
    Enpocket is one of Europe's leading providers of wireless marketing services to brands. The core value proposition is to offer major brands technology and services that enable them to interact with prospects and customers via the wireless medium (SMS, WAP, MMS, and Java). Enpocket has achieved commercial success over the past 2 years with offices in London, New York, and Los Angeles. Enpocket are profitable and are backed by Nokia and Softbank. Enpocket is a tight-knit start-up where knowledge sharing and fit with the entrepreneurial, aggressive team is paramount.

    Enpocket has executed 300 wireless campaigns for blue-chip customers such as O2, Vodafone, Orange, McDonalds, HSBC, MFI, Sky, and Expedia. Enpocket provides a one-stop hosted solution to clients including: 1) data analytics, 2) delivery, and 3) measurement. Clients use Enpocket's mobile marketing solution to acquire new customers, retain existing customers (CRM), and as a new customer service channel.

    Enpocket is recruiting an Operations Director to head up the campaign delivery, technical project management and IT infrastructure team.

    THE ROLE
    Enpocket is looking to recruit an extremely driven individual to run all facets of Enpocket' technical operations. The Operations Director will report into the CTO.

    This is a player/coach position that delivers on the rapidly growing list of mobile marketing projects sold by the Enpocket sales team. In addition, this position will have responsibility for managing the development of Enpocket's internal IT systems such as email.

    To that effect, this role requires a unique combination of customer interface skills, team leadership, and technical planning/delivery experience. This person has a high desire to learn and is not afraid to personally tackle new projects on tight timelines. This person enjoys working in a high-growth, often chaotic environment, with a minimum of management oversight. This person places the customer above all other priorities and will do whatever it takes to achieve high customer satisfaction.

    This person will work very closely with the sales team and is adept at working with different cultures and across time zones.

    This is a position for someone who has a burning desire to help build a lasting company---this is not a 9 to 5 job.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    · Running all operations worldwide, based out of London
    · Campaign delivery
    o Management and scheduling of campaign deliver
    o Managing the creation of campaign content
    o Weekly reporting to clients and Enpocket management
    · Systems
    o Managing the IT infrastructure for the Enpocket Engine including data center, software, and database (Oracle)
    o Building and managing a customer support organization
    o Managing the Enpocket corporate IT infrastructure including email, external and internal web site, connectivity, telecoms, and hardware
    · Project Management
    o Management and scheduling of technical project delivery
    o Creation of project plans, allocation of resources, and final customer contact point

    EXPERIENCE
    · Proven track record of building and managing technical operations within a high-growth business
    o 5 years experience
    o Strong company, employee, and customer references
    o Examples of successfully delivered technical projects
    o Experience with building and maintaining a start-up company’s IT infrastructure

    · Experience in the wireless market is highly desirable
    · Experience in media (particularly digital media) is highly desirable
    · Knowledge of advertising campaign management is highly desirable

    · Attitude and desire are everything - you must love the process of building a company, working with a close-knit highly skilled team, and managing through the inevitable headaches that are a part of it!
