HelloI wondered if anyone has come across an equivilent of the UK New Media Agencies & Consultants Directory 2004 for Europe.I have spoken to the IAB and they can't help... any ideas?thanksLucy

Funny you should mention that, I came across this site recently:
http://www.firmlist.com/
It says it's a directory listing web design and development firms around the world...unfortunately some that I know of are not listed, but it may help.
May also be worth contacting the publishers of ALF (Formerly THE ACCOUNT LIST FILE incorporating BRAD Agencies & Advertisers)
Published by BRAD Group Ltd, tel: 020 7505 8000 to see if they have or know of listings Europe or worldwide. If you do get a result please let me know.

Hello,
There is one for Germany, which is broader then just new media agencies. It includes CMS-products (german & global ones) and categorises the new media agencies in various domains (content, just design, development, etc.) A good feature of this site is that can compares producs (CMS) and there is also a english version available ;-) . http://www.contentmanager.net/
There is a second one focusing purely on Web agencies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The good point about this site is that all agencies are ranked by their customers, which brings me to the disadavantage that you need to rank a Web agency to gain 30 days free access to search all agencies online. Additionally, it is only German language, which kind of reduces the value for non-german speaking audience. http://web.benchpark.de/

I did talk to ALF actually and tehre is a European Version, but it covers only about 5 countries and is mainly larger players. I was really lookign at the smaler end of the market.
