As part of our global Euro testing we have had to configure our systems across pan-european networks and gateways. For Germany we have found a great source of information about all the WAP settings needed for German networks, the IP addresses of their gateways and the dialup numbers for their WISPs.
Note: Some of the numbers to dial are network short codes which are only available to handsets that are using the parent network of the supplier. BT Cellnet does this in the UK - and you will need to contact the ca.
rrier to find an alternative access number.
