I'm looking for advice on any other methods we can use to publicise our Affiliate Boot Camp conference, at Ettington Chase, Warwickshire from 13th-15th July.
We have an entry in the diary section on this site, entries in the diary sections for top publications for the sector like NMA and Brand Republic, we have posted details on affiliate forums, got our creative displayed on some of the top industry blogs, are doing an emailshot to marketing directors at the UKs main companies and concurrently a paper mailshot, so I think we have all of the bases covered, but thought I would throw it out to other forum contributors to see if there is anything I have missed.
Have you thought of using a flash presentation or internet video promo? www.gonzomedia.co.uk/vanity01.html is something we recently did for a promotion.,,more exciting than an emailshot, all detailed info on forums and speakers and accommodation, directions, etc. can be included, contact me at cathleenuk@yahoo.com for more info

Sorry - should have included that in the mix as well - duh!
We are running a private affiliate programme with selected partners - but thanks for highlighting it - I think I'm so close to it I'm having trouble seeing the wood for the trees!!
We'll have around 100,000 visitors this month and some could well be looking for an affiliate marketing boot camp...

We work on Landing Page Optimization to draw clients to our conference. We have found that we get better results when we have a Web Design Firm create these pages than wehen we try to them ourselves since they often bring a fresh and "outside" prespective to them. In essence, the landing page becomes the Contact Center for all future conference communications, giving the user an uncluttered, purposeful site to interact with us about a singualr topic, the conference. This approach has worked well for us.

perhaps a silly question but is there any reason you're not using affiliate marketing?
