Hi all,
Anyone know of a tool that allows you to calculate actual search volume for keywords on Google UK only - for 1 day / 1 month? I have seen a no of tools that state to do this but these are for Google.com rather than UK. Alternatively does anyone know what the calculation is that Google uses in its Traffic Estimator tool to work out daily budget for position 1 for a specific keyword or does it differ by keyword? If there is a standard rule then its possible to understand the total volume per day.
For example for the keyword PDA using their traffic estimator tool I get the following:
Keywords: PDA
Avg. Position: 1.0
Clicks:650
Day Cost: £847.95
Day Avg. CPC: £1.30
So they estimate that I will get 650 clicks in a day if I'm willing to bid at a maximum of £1.30. Is that a 5% clickthrough for first / 10% or does it take into account many different factors rather than just a standard clickthrough?
Finally does anyone know if this is someone that can be extracted via their API tool?
Found this on my travels as well which may be of interest to some?

Hello Paul,
Yes you can but you have to consider multiple factors for your calculation
