I'm compiling a list of the major providers of e-mail platforms i.e. systems that clients (or agencies) can use on a white label basis to manage in and outbound e-mail marketing, newsletters and so on. SMS / CRM / analytics type capabilties also interesting...

It is there - at the top of the list...

Ok, I've gone in and changed it. Excuse the oversight. I noticed the other day that a Google search, confined to UK pages, on 'email marketing' brings you out top. Good going on the SEO work there.

Any insight you can give on a) how you managed this and b) what uplift in traffic you have seen and c) any uplift to the bottom line as a result (i.e. sales, customers)?

Ashley, I am in the middle of writing a new guide that will reveal all my trade secrets - I'll let you know when it's ready. :)

I will say that Google sends me more traffic than all the other search engines put together, that traffic is good quality and, as far as I am concerned, there is no other search engine worth bothering about.

The key to getting a good ranking is to have an optimised, relevant site. That and plenty time & patience! :)

...if I can butt in with some nearly relevant information....

Here are several companies that offer Good creative e mail services (i'm not sure whether they have platforms or not). I've never used any of them, but always wanted to!

Inbox's personalised flash emails are particularly good (Did you get Daredeveil or Bond?)
    1. www.inbox.co.uk
    2. www.flashtalking.com
    3. www.hedgeapple.co.uk

    4. www.mailtrack.com ... this one would seem to be one to add to your list of platform providers...

I'd welcome any other examples of good creative e mails that users would be happy to receive...

    best

I think you should add Messagizer/Boungiorno to the list - (http://www.buongiorno.com/uk/) who have a great platform for mail - more details at http://www.bizbravo.com/pub/uk/ which covers the lower volume SME market or contact them directly for higher volume options.

Here's one for your list. This is a product/service that we resell; we manage accounts for others.
