Hi there,
I am looking to develop my skills in writing copy for our website, and wondered if anyone could recommend a good training course to ahieve this. I am looking to improve our online content to give our customers a more informed online experience and to further develop our SEO.
Thanks very much,

Hi there,
You should have a look at our Online Copywriting course, which covers the principles of copywriting and how effective copywriting can influence SEO. We run two courses, one as a basic introduction which sets out thorough guidelines for best practice and the newly launched advanced course, which is designed as a workshop with limited numbers of attendees and focuses on practical rewriting exercises designed around your specific needs. Details of both courses can be found at
http://www.e-consultancy.com/knowledge/training/category-3-1/online-copywriting.html
or feel free to call Naveed on 020 7681 4073 for further information.

hi, Talin, how are you?
There are a few online courses, but (having done a couple) I think there are blogs & books out there that will offer you much, much more. Here are a few resources:
Books
Persuasive Online Copywriting
Web Copy That Sells
Both are very different - the first is very friendly & focuses on being customer-centric. The second is somewhat spammy & is more 'hard sell'. I'm more for the first, but I think it's worth reading both.
Blogs/Newsletters
CopyBlogger
Nick Usborne's Excess Voice
Pretty much everything you need is there (or linked to from there!)
I hope that helps,
daniel

Hi Viv,
I have looked at the introduction course which is on the shortlist at the moment. With regards the rates, we have subscribed to e-consultancy, but the account is in the name of my colleague Talin. Would the discounted rate still apply for all members of our organisation?
Many thanks,
Daryl
