I am currently putting a paper together and would be interested to know, in your opinion, who the strongest sites are for usability.

For overall site usability have a look at:

These two sites score quite well from an usability perspective (using our usability methodology - over 200 criterions in the basic configuration - which is built upon Jakob Nielsen, Jared Spools, W3C, our research and many other established usability sources)
