So you have a list of people who have opted in to receive my communications... that's just fantastic... how kind.
I still don't get it about opt-in lists.
The only true opt-in has to be someone who has opted in to a specific company email communication... end of.
Surely these companies would do far better to say, hey we have a list of 10,000 people in Christmas buying mode, who wants to have their news broadcast to them via our newsletter which they have opted in for.
