Wow, this is quite an amazing tool. Admittedly not very relevant to digital economy, but interesting none the less.
Apart from the simple interest and amusement, this is actually a really good tool to track changes in sites over the years - especially useful in the larger sites where you can almost predict the point when they started taking usability more seriously. Take a look at amazon for a good example.

Oh, this is infinitely relevant, and useful to practitioners in the digital publishing/branding business. There is so much to learn from the decisions embodied in these evolutions!
