hi -
We've gotten quotes 80-250$US from US-based companies as to an appropriate honorarium to get UK executives to participate in a 15 minute online survey.
Curious what this community thinks. THANKS!

I guess it depends a bit what the survey is about and what kind of executives you are talking about but I'm not sure money is a very appropriate incentive.
For lots of large companies they couldn't accept money anyway as this could be seen as a form of 'bribery'. If an executive is half-way important then this amount of money isn't going to be a great motive either.
If you are going to use money then I'd suggest you donate it to a charity i.e. if you fill in this survey then we'll donate £100 to a charity. That would be much better for all concerned.
We only ever incentivise surveys we do with access to exclusive content or events.

On slightly different but connected note - my accountant is making my life very complicated and advises me that to pay money to members of the public for usability testing - I would require theem to fill out a form for the tax man. This would be massive disadvantage. I would be iterested in how other people handle this - does an honorarium get around this problem. if so how?
