Neilly is bound to prefer his product as it's from their company - G-Web. It looks to be a good product, but always best to check out the buzz on a product that isn't just what their own sales / development team say.

Totally true :) It is our product and I am going to be biased. However, it should be understood how much research and development went in to this software solution. It's not just a simple catalogue listing website which can then take transactions (like Actinic). It is intrinsically designed to improve conversions from foot traffic into sales. Things like shopping cart abandonment trends have been studied... Point of failures identified... Bad ecommerce practices understood - all have been taken into consideration to help make the software better and to give retailers the best possible chance to sell their products. e-Consultancy has been a very important source of research throughout the development process and if you are a fan of what e-Consultancy says, then I am sure you will like our product. There are other good software solutions out there - I'm not that naive to suggest otherwise... it's just that e-Trade Pro hasn't been designed based on single person's experience / knowledge of ecommerce - but instead through a collection of research and proven ecommerce practices by industry experts (and consumer trends as a whole) etc... Also, I don't know how many other ecommerce software providers can say that they use their own software to sell their own items. We do - and it was one of the best (and still is) learning curves we could have had. Our software follows the SaaS model also - which means it is constantly honed (and evolves with latest ecommerce technologies) through regular updates to be the most efficient tool to sell online.

Nice try at dissing the competition, but factually incorrect. True, one of Actinic's distinctives is that we offer solutions for all channels - online, shop and mail order - and we do have our own EPOS range. But our speciality and the majority of our effort has always been in ecommerce.
I would rather let our own users be the ones to sing our praises, as they often do. But we do have an example sites page on our web site. It has some great examples of what can be achieved using our software with a bit of effort and practice, as well as some more ordinary ones to show what can be deployed pretty much straight out of the box:
