Our business is entirely print media. We're looking for someone that can advise our busainess on producing products purely for the web. Can anyone help?

    Hi Ewan,

Before I left my last job we were looking at how best to integrate our online and print delivery processes, so I would suggest you talk to an agency that has worked on a similar project and has a good understanding of the technology involved. I would discard them if they haven't had anything to do with Single-source publication.

    Hello Ewan,

I am sure we can help - we consult entirely on internet strategy and can act as a genuine trusted advisor (we do not sell seo, ppc services etc) and would be happy to set up an exploratory meeting. We are quite local too!

As an intro our web site is www.bletchleygroup.com but lets talk!

    best

Great question - plenty of people could help, but who and how do you choose?

I work for a search optimisation and marketing company called Fuse Optimisation with a great track record, but rather than a sales pitch, thought I'd just give you a free pointer or two and then you can decide whether to contact us.

First, without a decent website with copy that is optimised for the search engines, very few people will find you online. So put that at the top of your online shopping list.

Second,  e-business and online marketing can be a minefield for those with little knowledge. Do work with a partner who has knowledge and experience.

If you need a strategy consultant (to help define and articulate the business plan?), well, Dave Chaffey is a good one to seek out. That said, we at Fuse could build you a terrific website and share a practical e-business approach. We also have a track record of launching successful online firms, for example:

youclaim.co.uk (top of Google for all types of searches using the word 'claim'. Go on, just type in 'claim' and see us at the top there - do you know how hard that is to do?.)

dogwoodlondon.co.uk (a younger company - try typing in 'riding boots'; another very competitive term and we're up there.)

(For reference, you can also click here for my career background)

Do contact me - happy to discuss further.

    kind regards,     mark chapman.
