We're looking for an on-line payment soution which allows us to take cards for payment and which allows a transaction (verification) code to be used.

This needs to be sent to us and included on the bank statement so that the card transaction can be linked to the account holder.

The transaction on the statement would have the last 4 digits of the user account (***XXXX) and a unique transaction code (YYYYYYY).

i.e.  Payment  for CCOMMS Account ****XXXX Code YYYYYYYY

Anyone any idea who might provide this?

    Thanks

    Nick Locket

If I am not mistaken this is something that can be done programmaticaly, by the way that you will integrate your online payment system with the bank's online payment facility.

Could provide further details if you need, but in essense you just need to talk to various banks to see whether they allow the reference number/code to be defined by you.  I think most allow it.

I had assumed so. I fear that I have been given the run-around by sales people who are completely unknowledgeable!

Thanks - I'll check with the banks.
