I am currently developing a contingency plan for my team and am looking at options for outsourcing email and ad operations.
Can anyone recommend any suppliers? Does anyone have any tips on what to look for or how to go about this?

Hi Caroline,
For email suppliers, I'd recommend you download the Email Marketing Buyer's Guide:
http://econsultancy.com/reports/email-marketing-buyers-guide
This features 25 email marketing vendors, and also contains tips and pitfalls for finding a suitable supplier.
We're currently working on the 2011 upate to this guide
It is also worth looking at our supplier directory here: http://econsultancy.com/directories/suppliers
For ad operations, there is a good article on iMediaConnection, which may be useful: http://www.imediaconnection.com/content/20889.asp
