Fashion designer Stella McCartney has launched an iPad app.
The free app, available from the Apple App Store today, features latest news on the brand, latest collections and video interviews.
Users will be able to watch backstage footage of the summer 2011 show in Paris, as well as an exclusive performance from the hip-hop rock band N*E*R*D, fronted by singer and record producer Pharrell Williams.
The app features videos to show off McCartney’s winter collections. Users will also be able to watch interviews with Danish tennis player, ranked world number one, Caroline Wozniacki, who is the only player to wear McCartney’s tennis line designed for Adidas.
Articles on latest ranges and photo galleries marking special occasions in the designer’s life will also be available.
McCartney has also designed a black faux leather iPad case, which is available to buy online for $395 (£253).
Earlier this month, McCartney launched her first ecommerce site in the UK (nma.co.uk 1 December 2010). The shop is a replication of the US site and is set to launch in eight more European countries next year.
Selling McCartney’s clothes collections, accessories and lingerie, it integrates with Twitter and Facebook.
The site also links to the Stella McCartney kids portal, which launched in September.
