The third series of Sofia’s Diary, Bebo’s online drama, was watched 1.8m times, according to the social network.
The first series amassed a much higher 12.9m online views, but both the first and second series consisted of around 65 episodes, compared with the third’s 10 instalments.
The latest series, sponsored by Transport for London, reached nearly 2m online interactions, including page views and video views, and now has 25,000 fans on its page, according to teen social network Bebo.
A spokesman for Bebo said the series was a success despite fans having to wait almost a year for the third series. “We’ve had a really great view rate, with nearly 25,000 fans on the home page, many of whom had accumulated since the second series finished last September. We were really pleased that even though there was a long interval, this campaign proved a success in the eyes of all parties involved.”
The spokesman didn’t rule out a fourth series but said there were no immediate plans to recommission.
