Myvideorights has signed a deal with Tiger Aspect to handle the global distribution of Mr Bean across online, mobile and IPTV.

The Rowan Atkinson-fronted comedy series is to celebrate its 20th anniversary next year. To date it has been sold in 245 territories worldwide, while the animated version shows in 60.

The exclusive multi-platform deal with Tiger Aspect will see Myvideorights take control of Mr Bean clips online, which have previously been uploaded without authorisation.

Myvideorights CEO Ashley MacKenzie said the show was the most popular professional video content online, and that the deal would look to monetise this.
