While people queued for up to eight hours outside Topshop's Oxford Street store to be the first to get hold of the new clothing range designed by Kate Moss, Topshop's website experienced similar demand.
The Topshop site, which starting selling the Kate Moss collection online from 4am yesterday, reportedly sold out of the range within 12 hours, and UK visits to the Topshop website have doubled over the last two days.
According to Heather Hopkins from Hitwise, the Kate Moss range helped Topshop reach its highest rank and share of UK visits over the past year.
The site ranked second in the Apparel and Accessories websites category, and number 138 in all categories of websites.

One interesting stat was that the second most visited website after Topshop was eBay, as enterprising shoppers looked to make profits from the range, and people desperate to get their hands on the range decided to try the auction site instead.
More than 3,000 items from the Kate Moss collection have found their way onto the auction site so far.
