Technorati founder David L. Sifry has provided some tips for bloggers aiming to crack the search engine’s Top 100 list.

The Wired article also includes pointers from MySpace Hacks’ Matthew Price on how to increase your traffic on the community site.

Sifry’s advice, which seems fairly basic, is that bloggers should react quickly to news; make posts easy to read; link prolifically to other sites; focus on search engine optimisation; and post regularly.

Price’s suggestions, which include using free tools and downloads, are a little more detailed.

E-consultancy will be running business blogging events later this year in the UK. Interested marketers / business folk should contact for more information.
