I've rounded up ten recent infographics on e-commerce and related issues, including delivery, social commerce, and how the use of colour affects purchase habits.

Where possible, I've added the infographics to this post in a readable size, but for others you can click on the image to see a larger version...

Love the infographics, very informative but easy to understand as well. I'm not surprised about how social media influences people's online purchases, as I'm more likely to buy a holiday after reading reviews, or more likely to want a product after a blogger has recommended it.

Reading this blog made me wonder if anyone has come across any interesting e-commerce YouTube videos?

Amazing, amazing graphic. Interesting angles to this topic, presented in a really visually appealing way. Well done. (Glad you included Africa in the mix. We are not there yet but good progress.)

    Really?

And 95% of China's population have shopped online too?

    Hmm...

I think the data once you can work it out is really interesting. I think the graphics are poor because most of them make you struggle to work out the main take aways.

Some of these are great, but a few have quite obvious errors. Anyone using these to back up their business case should approach with caution. Otherwise, a good selection.

i don't know how wide spread this type of thing is but with a site like ASOS i would images it happens quite a lot.

I second David Bell and his observation about some of the stats in the Xemion graphic. 97% of UK population has shopped online? 95% of China population has shopped online? Really?

The first graphic also needs qualification in the headline. "Percentage of people who have shopped online by area" is just wrong. Should be "Percentage of people by area, who are online and have shopped online."

Maybe I'm being picky but these little nuggets will always be plucked out of graphics like these and will self-replicate.

Thanks for the work, although I do have some solid doubts here and there. People got to protect itself against IRS and other tax offices, so the number of real true possibilities will never be achieved. The internet became a open book and turned against its users.
Agree to social recomendation because that is a fact since thousands of years and should keep that way without publicity nor marketing promising gold for the price of a tomate.
Last is the vulnerability of the net by both criminals and environment influences.

    best wishes
