The Spam Cube is a piece of anti-spam hardware which is being launched through Amazon in the UK, designed to sit between a broadband modem and your PC/laptop, scanning incoming email for unwanted messages.
This hardware will retail at around £100, but the real question is why internet users should have to pay for hardware to deal with this problem. Isn’t this a problem which could be dealt with some other way? You know, ISPs, that sort of thing...?

According to Apple Insider, two new iPod–based mobile phones could be released within the next few months, initially in small quantities to test the waters.
Apple appeared to confirm such rumours last month, when they registered the trademark for the name ‘iPhone’ in the US, after months of speculation about the product.

Europe’s high streets could eventually be devoid of banks, travel agents and mobile phone shops as consumers turn to the web for research, according to ACNielsen.
A study by the analyst group found consumers used window-shopping less than the net when choosing their purchases, except when it came to clothing and accessories.

I was given an iPod as a birthday gift a couple of years ago. Immediately, I fell in love with it, and it revolutionised my listening habits. It looks good, it is easy to use, and my particular model stored 5,000 songs, about half of my CD-based music collection.
But my love affair quickly turned sour. Over time, I have experienced various problems with the iPod and iTunes, some of which are listed after the jump.
