A 37,000 mile global sailing race that stopped at 11 ports around the world, with only one stop in North America, Fan Pier, Boston, Massachusetts (attendance 200,000).

• Fully accountable for event programming including entertainment, educational programs, special events and local charity organizations.
• Researched, contracted and successfully managed over 60 artistic acts over 21 day event.
• Created curriculum for over 1500 Boston Public School Children to participate in the event at no cost to schools or event bottom-line.
• Managed event budget of more than 2.5 million dollars.
• Supervised vendor relationships including: writing RFP, reviewing and negotiating contracts, ensuring contract fulfilment.
• Recruited and managed over 200 volunteers.

• Managed all large group bookings for the Boston, Chicago and DC corporate markets and nationwide association market.

• Wrote and negotiated contracts, managed rooms/meeting space inventory and worked with catering and events staff for fulfilment.
• Participated in weekly strategy sessions to determine the most effective and profitable way to promote the hotel.
