After my marketing studies I started working in the IT-business always combining marketing and IT-knowledge. I worked on projects for Microsoft, IBM, was over 2 years b2b marketing manager at Sonera. After Sonera I was employed by Syntens for over 3 years as a consultant in the SME-market, focussing on strategy with combining IT, Media and marketing as a challenge. I was an entrepeneur in cooperation with partners for three years of Fresh Interactive (mobile marketing agency), U-Lab (internet agency) and The Buccaneers (advertising agency).
I am a digital strategist and entrepreneur in the Dutch creative industries. Besides developing concepts, consulting and training at the intersection of marketing & communications and Internet & new media, I have founded a number of private initiatives including Pytch, Vroege Vogel (literally translated as Early Bird) and NSMA (Dutch Social Media Academy).
