Education and Qualifications
I was a star with many remarkable ideas in Korea. First, my comic entitled the Tangerine Human, whose character’s face is a tangerine, became a small trend in Korea. I even appeared on major TV shows and newspapers around the country. Finally, this trend increased the sales of tangerines, which are economically important in the Jeju province, so I won an honor plaque from the governor of Jeju province.
Second, I have won four marketing competitions. One of these was for a broad environmental campaign of Hyundai Motor. Another was for a more specific project for a wireless company’s promotional event plan designed for university campuses. For these competitions, I planned a wide range of marketing areas such as website strategy, experiential marketing, branding, and promotional events.
I have an intern experience at a promotions & interactive agency in Korea, for one year. In this capacity, I assisted the promotion team to complete projects on time and meeting the client needs. I participated in planning and implementing a college student brand ambassador program for Samsung and an online journal targeting the youth for LG.
I also interned at CAT, Inc., which is an IT venture in Berkeley, for 6 months. I directly assisted the CEO by designing documents and communicating with investors. I also had an opportunity to develop my knowledge in the IT fields and digital media platforms while I maintain uploading content on social network websites such as Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and Wordpress.
I am currently interning at Tamara York PR in New York City.
