Creig Foster is CEO of his own firm, CRS Business Associates, Inc., a consulting company that uses business analytics, data visualization, predictive modeling and process redesign to enable companies to significantly improve their business performance. In addition, Creig is the Associate Partner at Marketing Operations Partners, leading the team associated with Marketing Analytics services, which helps companies to transform data to insight, and ultimately, to well-informed marketing decisions.
Creig has incorporated these analytical techniques into modules to solve specific business problems (marketing program response, customer retention, lead qualification scoring, marketing mix allocation, marketing ROI analysis, fraud detection, sales forecasting, profitability, collections, cash flow forecasting, just to name a few). Creig assists clients in identify, extracting, analyzing relevant company data to gain deeper insights into their customer-product-level behavior and activity. Creig works with organizations of all size including Fortune 1000 companies.
He specializes in the use of predictive modeling and statistical tools from SPSS to enable organizations to test, in simulation mode, marketing programs, forecasting models, process changes, etc. that have the potential for the greatest results before having to incur any operational expense. His current experience in modeling marketing and sales data includes a two year project at Warner Bros. and Warner Home Video. The project included the implementation of Customer Relationship Management system for sales and a Data Warehouse system data sourcing design for the company’s vast film library of 40,000 plus titles. Companies for which Creig has worked include Boeing, CFO.com, Fitech Laboratories, Interior Motions, Medical Data Solutions, NASA, PG&E, ProBusiness (now ADP), optionsXpress, and Warner Home Video.
Representative product deliverables include:
· Excel models to monitor a company’s generation of free cash flow. Used to identify liquidity and working capital (AR, AP, and inventory) issues before becoming acute. Assisted in implementing corrective actions; benefits realized included improved cash flow used to fund certain capital expenditures.
· Fraud detection and prevention models (phone credit card, bank account disbursement services); methodology for using statistical models in detecting medical claims and AP fraud.
· Excel models to improve marketing and sales performance (segmentation, targeting, positioning, and marketing mix allocation).
Education and Qualifications
He is an adjunct professor teaching marketing, marketing research and sales management courses at University of Phoenix and formerly taught at Golden Gate University’s MBA program. Creig holds a MBA degree in Finance from DePaul University and a BSBA degree in Marketing from Northwestern University.
