As one of the founding Directors of Wheel I have been working in the digital marketing/business arena since the mid 90s. In that time I've worked with a whole range of different UK businesses - M&S, Centrica, BAT, Unilever, NS&I, Safeway, Channel 5 - helping them to devise and implement their online strategies. During that time Wheel grew from 25 employees to 400 and then back to 100 when the market crashed in 2001. In 2005 Wheel was acquired by LBi Group and joined forces with Oyster/Framfab and LBi Icon to create LBi UK, our 450 person attempt at the connected agency of tomorrow. Since then we've merged with bigmouthmedia to create Europe's premier Marketing and Technology Agency, raised soem additional funding, relisted on the Euronext and are executing on the next step of the plan to create the agency of the future. Over the years i've learnt a thing or two about managing growth, managing decline, acquiring and merging businesses and trying to produce something of value out of all that. I've also made plenty of terrible decisions along the way - so I've got that going for me.
