About Me

An alumni of the prestigious JET programme, experienced UK teacher, freelance writer/blogger and social media consultant specialising in the education market.

As PR and Marketing Manager for Twinkl Primary Resources (on a consultant basis) I manage media relations (press releases, media liaison, media calls), by-lined articles (including for The Times), copywriting, editorial competitions/promotions, advertorials, event management, award entry writing and social media management. I source advertisers for the Twinkl site and have run co-marketing campaigns with Hallmark Cards, Isabella Oliver and Avery Dennison. My recent successes include writing an award application for the Bett awards on behalf of twinkl, we were subsequently shortlisted as finalists in the digital resource category. I manage all aspects of social media for twinkl including facebook, twitter, pinterest and linkedin. I am experienced in using a variety of tools to measure impact and analyse data.

Although I specialise in education, I have a variety of social media clients (facebook, twitter, pinterest, blogs and linkedin) ranging from parenting sites, educational resources, nursery interiors and travel/tourism who value my "can do" attitude and ability to think creatively and innovatively in a timely manner.

I also specialise in blogger outreach - an advertising tool many businesses overlook. Through my network of bloggers I can pin point the right blogger for your needs and create long standing mutually beneficial relationships.

I am a freelance writer and write articles for The Times Schoolgate Blog, Britmums, Tesco parenting magazine, DigYorkshire and Moormums amongst others. I am experienced in writing business blogs focusing on engaging users, retaining customers and bringing in site traffic. I can provide keyword rich copy and articles perfect for SEO purposes.
