About Me
I set up ERD Associates to provide strategy and communications advice and services to the environment, renewable energy and development sectors. ERD builds on my 30 year experience in media - most of it spent at Centaur Media - and my recent MSc in Environment & Sustainable Development from UCL.
At Centaur I successfully launched weekly and monthly magazines - including New Media Age - newsletters, web sites - including mad.co.uk - and Centaur Exhibitions.
Latterly I led on Mergers & Acquisitions and I also managed the company’s internal and external communications. I was a non-executive director of a number of subsidiaries of Centaur.
I am currently working as a Senior Consultant with a new NGO, Advance Aid, whose mission is to transform the way that emergency relief materials are manufactured and pre-positioned in Africa. I am also now a Trustee of PhotoVoice, an NGO whose mission is to bring about positive social change for marginalised communities through providing them with photographic training with which they can advocate, express themselves and generate income.
