About Me
I'm a writer and editor; with a media background that’s been formed through over ten years. Through this period, I've been contributing with my writings to six magazines, a TV channel, a PR agency and a website, while I'm also moderating my own media-specialized facebook group. Throughout my career, I've had the posts of a poet/poetry editor/ critic and playwright, an art reporter and head of the art section, an art and music reviewer, a freelance interviewer and writer, an html developer and assistant editor, a real estate magazine managing editor and a real estate TV channel development advisor/script writer/researcher and program multimedia supervisor. My final post was as a senior staff writer and reporter at a design magazine and I’m currently freelancing as a copywriter.
Education and Qualifications
I went to Tala'e El-Kamal Islamic Language School; which enabled my ability to effectively use English language in my writings. That is definitely with God's help, the courses I've acquired, and through self help by online research, a variety of readings, and by learning from experts. I had Architectural Design as a major at the faculty of Fine Arts, then acquired post graduate studies in graphic design and multimedia, as major studies, whereas Berlitz English language and business skills were the minor studies. This enables me to further understand the IT requirements of publishing, not to mention how my architectural major and fine arts background have enabled professional writing in the relevant fields. The courses I've acquired were in human development & communication skills at Zedny organization, as well as a journalism skills course at The British Council in Cairo. I always like to engage in self development activities; which included photography; being an ex member of the Cairo Camera Club, and social media through my variable media jobs, and by running my own media-oriented facebook group "Journalistic Dialogues"; as well as performing some graphic/hand crafted designs; on occasional basis for an online-based art group. I believe my qualifications could be categorized mainly in writing and publishing, management, and presentation skills; through being the speaker of any teamwork performed at college and during my post graduate diploma.
