About Me
As Marketing Manager at Pitman Training Group Head Office, based in Wetherby, Yorkshire – with franchises across the UK and on an international scale, my key focus is to develop and manage a fully integrated creative communications strategy across the network.
Pitman Training has led the way for growth in development and efficiency within the workplace since 1837 – when Sir Isaac Pitman invented Shorthand. Since then the business has developed to incorporate modern technologies and advances. Keeping true to the heritage of the brand, the key focus is to arm ‘Pitmanites’ with the skills they need to get the jobs that they want.
Specialists in Office, IT, Administration, Finance and Business skills, Pitman Training offers a flexible approach to training for employment – whether you’re switching careers, getting to grips with new software, up-skilling for promotion or returning to work. Pitman Training Course Advisors work with you to find a tailor made solution to meet your training needs.
With 10 years experience working within the field of business promotion, I have worked hard to develop a detailed approach to creative marketing, communication and PR which applies the principles of project management and business development in order to maximise the overall business growth.
Coming from an agency background has armed me with the skills required to manage the communication strategy of a 100+ franchise network which is currently growing on an international scale.
I’m keen to develop partnerships with relevant third parties within the training, education and employment sectors as well as working closely with various media outlets in order to drive awareness of topical training issues and requirements.
Dedicated to taking the ‘fluff’ out of the creative stereotype - whilst keeping all the fun intact!
