About Me
A true ‘cosmopolite’, Jasmin Taylor was born in Teheran, but soon felt the world beckoning. After completing high school diploma in Germany, she took on a Bachelor of Psychology and Management, followed by a Masters in Human Relations, both at American universities. By then, enough of ‘the American Dream’ had rubbed off on her, and following a number of jobs within the fields of business, marketing and public relations, including managing the first Dot.Com business in Germany, she was ready to fly solo.
With plenty of opportunities and available means, Jasmin travelled extensively, and the idea struck that people with lesser incomes should be awarded the same opportunities. The solution, at once glaringly obvious: Gratistours.com. Founded in 2002 Gratistours works with a global network of hotels, offering customers hotel rooms for the cost of a meal and a one-off administrative charge, and is today one of Germany’s leading online travel portals.
