I lead the Digital Team within Taco Bell IT, reporting to the CIO.
I have been instrumental in starting up and building excitement around the Taco Bell Omnichannel Strategy which includes taking the current stores and making them available for ordering and payment via the Taco Bell Mobile App. Currently actively working on implementing the Digital Strategy and making it real for our customers to connect, interact and effectively engage with the Brand.
Prior to Taco Bell and Yum, I worked for Walmart Stores Inc. helping revitalize their global strategy to expose the various business functions as standards based consistent API's so as to add the necessary speed and agility to the business integrations and the partner integrations. This entailed setting up the Global SOA Center of Competence and delivering the key infrastructures to deliver business critical functions like Pickup Today (PUT)
I have also served DHL Express for almost 8 years managing various functions like their Finance Portfolio of applications (MainFrame and SAP), heading their Software Engineering Practice for the US, leading efforts for global clearing (Clear in the Air), etc.

I have a Bachelors Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College, India.
