About Me
I started working on web projects around Netscape 1.0. I was one of the first employees of Modem Media, and then Director of Operations at US Interactive. Both were online ad agencies, where I worked on some of the largest brands on the internet today.
1998 I founded my first company, Involve Inc. — our tagline was: Engage, Involve, Spread the word. I served as COO, cultivating online solutions for non-profits and affinity groups. We raised over $3 million in funding to build private labeled portals, one of the first .NET content management mystems and our own email platform. The company was purchased in 2003 by Kintera, a software as a service company focused on the non-profit industry. There I served as Vice President of Web Services until 2006. Kintera went public in 2005, and I was listed as a Key Employee in their SEC filings for the IPO.
I joined David Herscott at MEA Digital in 2006, where I was managing director and COO. David and I first met at Modem Media and kept in touch through the years; together we grew MEA into a top 50 interactive agency. After the successful sale of MEA Digital to Advanta Bank Corp. in 2008, I spent two years with Advanta as Senior Vice President of eCommerce.
Now, David and I have teamed up again, collaborating on the creation of Digital Properties Group to develop online businesses that make the Web a better place to visit. www.digitalpropertiesgroup.com
