About Me

Since co-founding Chapter Eight in 2002, I have driven the rapid expansion of the company. I have a passion for 'doing it right', and my enthusiasm for using technology to support and aid growth in businesses, means that Chapter Eight's products and services are always evolving.

Previously, I was Group Internet Development Director for Regional Independent Media Group Plc - a £177m turnover, £43m profit media group of over 100 regional newspapers, with magazines, radio interests, new media investments and contract printing and publishing.

I was responsible for developing the group wide Internet strategy for RIM plc and the creation of a wholly owned subsidiary - Regional Interactive Media Ltd - which by the time of its sale to Johnston Press in 2002 was a £4m turnover, £1.1m profit division.

Prior to Regional Independent Media Group, I was instrumental in the development of the online media strategy for Northcliffe Newspapers in 1996 - the first time the regional press ventured online. Also in 1996, I provided consulting to the UK newspaper industries' answer to Yahoo! - AdHunter which later became Fish4.

In 2006, I qualified as a Chartered Director with the Institute of Directors - becoming at the time the youngest person ever to have gained the award.
