About Me

Richard Wong is a Digital and Social Media Practitioner, Consultant and a Certified Trainer.

He is the Founder of GisMo ConneXion Services. He has accumulated more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience in area of IT and Business Management Services and has knowledge in conducting businesses Overseas and Singapore.

Richard has worked in the Retail, Industrial, Manufacturing, FMCG, Food, Services and Information Technology industries. Today, his experience allows him to integrate and implement the IT tools and business marketing knowledge to tap into the new social media community.

Together with the rich experience and the vast industry background, Richard integrate into Digital and Social Media practice and has worked in many Social Media Marketing projects with recognizable brands such as Cisco, Toshiba, Achieve Group and many others that contributed to their success.

Through these projects, he has gained in-depth experience and knowledge to conduct training in the area of Social Media in Singapore and Malaysia. These trainings include participants from Tourism Australia, Maybank, Citygas, Volkswagen, SMU, City Development Limited, essiLor, Far East Hospitality and many more. He has also been invited by the Malaysia Institute of Accountants to deliver a track on "Harnessing the Power of Social Media" and conduct a full day Masterclass workshop on "Social Media Marketing: Put it to work for you" in the MIA International Accountants Conference 2012.

Richard has been interviewed on Singapore Official 938Live radio, quoted in AsiaOne and have given many talks in the subject of Social Media. He is a nominee for the Singapore Spirit of Enterprise Award, 2012 and is accredited with the Expert status by Facebook Studio in Facebook Pages, Ads and Technology.
