About Me

Passionate and experienced marketing manager with a focus on online marketing and e-commerce. Strong background in hospitality, travel and retail.

Over ten years experience in online marketing and e-commerce.
I’ve begun my digital marketing career with a role at shop.nl, the first online store to open in the Netherlands. Since then I’ve established a strong foothold in the fast-paced industry, developing specialist knowledge of the online travel, retail, finance, hospitality and B2B sectors.

My key focus is on developing medium to long-term (digital marketing) strategies that are balanced with the delivery of results in the short term. I’ve combined e-commerce disciplines of multi-channel marketing, email marketing, cross-media advertising, eCRM, customer lifecycle management and search engine marketing to enable organisations to attract, engage and retain customers.

From May 1, 2008 and still in this role.

Enabling E-Village to conquer the world with great online marketing software, that not only automates important parts of your marketing efforts but improves customer insight and increases profitability and ROI. Responsible for corporate marketing strategy and the development and implementation of internetional product marketing strategyfor Clang, our new Event Driven Marketing Platform as a Service.

Online Marketing Consultant at E-Village
From April 1, 2007 until May 31, 2008.

Strategic online marketing consulting for organizations such as Free Record Shop, Bookedoo, Robeco and NS Hispeed. Strong focus on customer interaction, retention and loyalty. Winner of an Email Marketing Award 2008 with Robeco.

Online Marketer at D-reizen
From November 1, 2003 until March 31, 2007.

Responsible for all online marketing activities for the largest independent travel organization in The Netherlands, including the development of a personalized and narrow segmented email programme, a 400% increase of the opt-in database and tripling website traffic while maintaining overall conversion. Gaining lots of experience with SEA, SEO, email marketing, online media buying, link building, and much more.
