Ron Kunitzky founded Geyser Marketing Group in 2003 as a result of his unwavering belief in the power of smart collaboration. Harnessing the power of Partnership Marketing, Ron builds the social and commercial capital of a brand with a unique methodology that encompasses a wide range of tools and techniques to bring it all together. Ron has successfully partnered companies in many verticals including consumer goods, finance, eco-friendly, eye care, technology, e-commerce, retail and B2B services, having creating incremental streams of revenue and generating new activities which have resulted in millions of dollars of growth.
Ron’s expertise in Partnership Marketing transcends borders. With his extensive knowledge of distribution, affiliate marketing, loyalty marketing, licensing and channel marketing, Ron grew AOL UK’s partnership marketing business from 20% to 60% of the overall contribution to membership acquisition activities in just two years from 2001 to 2003. Today, his clients are leading local, national, and international organizations including 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, Coastal Contacts, Pitney Bowes, crowdSPRING, The ALDO Group, NASDAQ OMX, Roscan, Export Development Canada, Cardinal Watches, Track It Back, Demand Metric, MBNA-Bank of America, the CICA, and LastMinuteTraining.ca. Ron has helped each one of these companies generate incremental revenue, acquire new customers, open new marketing and distribution channels, and add value to their existing propositions.
In great demand as a public speaker, Ron regularly shares his knowledge. He is featured in the Canadian Marketing Association's Faculty of Lecturers that provide informational seminars several times per year to employees of industry leaders including Rogers Communications, Fairmont Hotels, Computershare, Priszm Brands (Pizza Hut & Taco Bell), Aeroplan, John Wiley & Sons Publishing, University of Toronto, Manulife, Harlequin, Air Miles, and the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission.
Ron is the author of "Partnership Marketing - How to Grow Your Business and Transform Your Brand through Smart Collaboration” which will be published in September 2010 by Wiley. His insights on Partnership Marketing can be read on his own blog and as an industry expert on the Search Engine People blog. In April 2010 Ron will be speaking at eMetrics in Toronto.
Ron has been featured in several publications including The Sponsorship Report, Marketing Magazine, The Advisor and Les Affairs. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Concordia University, a Graduate Certificate in Marketing from McGill University, and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the United Kingdom and is a member of the B2B Council of the Canadian Marketing Association. In his leisure, Ron likes to spend time with his family, travel the world, play drums in his band, and play ice hockey.
